my sister amy is turning 29 this week!

in her honor, this past saturday night, we celebrated in style...casino style...with nickle and penny slots and free cherry coke.

we paraded over to indiana to a hilarious casino and spent hours gambling away chump change and taking in the local flavor. i spent most of the time feeling paranoid about the constant security watching. i'm convinced i have the guiltiest conscience of any gal i know. i might as well have been counting cards and kicking slots. 

no cameras were allowed on the gambling floor which will forever break my heart. there were so many funny sights...a cover band, wolf-themed slot machines, and colors and lights everywhere you turn. 

regardless, amy came home with winnings in her pocket and a new sense of self. we're determined to become the old women in sweats parked at the penny slots someday.
