today was one of those breathlessly wonderful early spring days.
the kind where, despite being under the weather, you drop all responsibilities and send your guy a text demanding him, your favorite spot, a picnic basket and books, and some necking.
i'm lucky enough to have matt, who usually obliges these whims.
he took us down the lane at his grandma's farm...tucked between fields and barns and a straight shot of sun.
we danced to old records, ate pie, crossword puzzled and took pictures...and even though we only had a couple of hours to spare time seemed to stand still just a bit.
warm sun and being smitten will do that to you...leaving you completely punch drunk.
ahhh! i love this. beautiful setting, styling, photos, and couple. you two seem so perfect for each other.
ReplyDeletealso, that quilt...LOVE! is it vintage or new?
ReplyDeleteyou two are beyond adorable. and do you really take all of these yourself? the frame is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteeverything about this tugs at my heart... you two are a heavenly match indeed and the sun just illuminates that fact. you've inspired me to to plan a little farm picnic with for my guy <3

p.s. angela! i found that quilt at a vintage store this week! isn't it something? worn and salmon-colored and graphic patterned. my dream picnic blanket!
ReplyDeleteand chaucee...we do take all of the photos ourselves...and usually it's just dumb luck. haha. like the last photo, i set the timer while we were dancing and when i looked to see the result we were perfectly centered. that never happens! haha.
Beautiful beauty. I love it all. Wish I'da been there, though that may have been a bit awkward...
