float my boat

this past week, summer has been slipping in the back making the days perfectly long and lazy and hot.
in short, it's root beer stand weather!
 a 50's themed drive in, greasy hamburgers wrapped in paper, kind of place.
 healthy eating be damned!
 (although i did skip french fries and went straight for the grilled chicken. this gal has lost 6 lbs and all sorts of body fat. huzzah! that kind of progress calls for a root beer float!)
the root beer stand was the perfect spot for our wednesday night date night.
we have a 9 o'clock curfew (when buddy get's home from his dad's) and a financial class we're taking from 6-8. but you'd be amazed at how steamy a wednesday night date can get between the hours of 4:30 and 5. add budgeting homework over dinner wrapped in paper into the mix and who else is all hot around the collar?
 i guess wednesday root beer floats and talks of roth ira's( i still don't know what that means) and this guy just do it for me.

    I think being able to have fun even with the boring day-to-day tasks (such as finances) shows how strong and loving a relationship is.

    I love the bold red in all of your pics. Haha that DOES sound like a hot and heavy date...sounds like a lot of the dates you'll probably have when you get into old age! :p
    I wish there was a rootbeer stand by my house. We have an A&W...but that's basically fast food!

    I miss root beer floats! They don't have root beer in australia, and here they call floats 'spiders'. Weirdos. Anyhoo, may i ask which lipstick you're wearing? I love it!
