happy independence day!
the 4th of july is one of my favorite holidays...it's all apple pie and fireworks and forcing my family to get festive and shamelessly wear red, white, and blue with me. 
there's nothing like it.
we're lucky lucky folks...

    ny fireworks are something to behold, but i miss the simplicity of home. i loved going to the river with the family and watching the modest show together. now i have to force myself out of the house to brave the crowds.
