turkey lurkey

we're all sorts of excited for thanksgiving this week!
max has one last day of school tomorrow then it's going to be all pumpkin pie and cranberries and trying to talk our little guy into tasting a bit of turkey. 
(last year he woke up in tears at the thought)

hoping your weekend was a swell one.
we got in one last bike ride of the year saturday night. it was lovely roaming empty streets lit by christmas light trees and fancy store window displays.
 late november bike rides are my new favorite!

    no turkey for max?? jonas can't get enough. but only thanksgiving turkey. never lunch meat turkey.

    i really like how in the last picture it looks like max has an abe lincoln beard.

    Love these pictures! I wanted to tell you before I forget-- I remember awhile back that you were looking for book suggestions for max and I wanted to make sure you knew about the Baseball Card Adventures series by Dan Gutman! It's a little advanced for Max right now (it's at about a 5th grade level, I think) but would make a great thing to read aloud together. Each book has a title like "Babe & Me" or "Honus & Me" and is about time travel and old-timey baseball heros!
