sneaking off for afternoon dates with this guy is a highlight of my life...
he swept me up yesterday and saved me from afternoon computer work and we hid out at his favorite place to sit and eat for a bit...
sushi for him and salad for me and lots of loving and doting on each other between the two of us...
it's hard to believe only 13 more weeks until we'll be toting around a little baby bunny to lunch with us.
xoxo
Those special dates are such a sweet part of life! It always seems that the simplest ones are the best ones too:) My hubby needed to pick up something late from work the other night, so I rode with him and we ate at chickfila and just had the best conversation and special time together. We've got a little one on the way too and that will just make it all the better:)
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty pictures.

DUDE. how is it only thirteen more weeks?!
ReplyDeleteYay for babies!
ReplyDeleteToo sweet! My husband works such long hours that we never get a date in the daylight and I do miss that. You're lucky to have somewhat flexible schedules... and so much love and beauty in your life too!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet :) I love lunch dates. We used to work too far from each other, but I'm so happy we're close enough now.
ReplyDeleteI work for the university that my husband goes to for graduate school and his little visits and lunches out are the highlight of my weeks. It's pretty special! So excited for you. I still have 29 weeks to go, and I'm a little jealous but I know that time will go by SO FAST!
ReplyDeleteYou have such smart outfits. You look put-together and effortless, I love your necklace! I studied Japanese for 12 years throughout school and only upon reaching university have I learned to like sushi. It must have been all those years of kids bringing in soggy sushi for taste-testing, never trust sushi from tupper-ware!
ReplyDeleteI love the top shot of the wall in the sushi place - so cool. Going on dates is the best and there is something so much sweeter about it when you're both excited for the arrival of a little one. You look simply beautiful, Katie!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see that little girl. You've got to be dying. I've gotta admit...it would be hard for me to sit in a sushi restaurant and not have a taste! :)
ReplyDeleteAww how sweet! It's nice to have those unexpected times together!
ReplyDeleteHi Katie! The colors in the top photo are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAnd you look beautiful, as always.
mmm sushi....my husband told me a couple months ago that he doesn't like going out for sushi anymore because it doesn't fill him up enough haha. i was a little heartbroken...hopefully he has a change of heart sometime soon :)
ReplyDeleteWow, time is really flying! Only 13 weeks? You look just beautiful Katie.

What a beautiful place to eat, i wish we had sushi here...!
ReplyDeleteTwo semesters ago my hubs & I both had classes in the morning on the same campus-- being able to swing by our favorite spot for breakfast twice a week was just wonderful! Congratulations, both on the baby & on enjoying each other!
