friday night my bobbins and i got out of dodge and spent some time at a small little carnival down the road.
i love how these places pop up here and there throughout the summer...giving us our cotton candy, balloon popping, funny music, people watching fix. well, at least for max and i. phoebe seems to sleep through all the good stuff...
This looks like so much fun. It's the carnival here in switzerland too...love this time of year. :)
ReplyDeletelove these pictures! seems like the perfect way to spend a day in summer!
ReplyDeleteColorful and beautiful :)
ReplyDeletethese are some of my strongest childhood memories, of running around carnivals, begging for funnel cake and to play one more game that I probably wouldn't win for some stuffed animal that I definitely didn't need. I still have a pink snail that my older brother won for me when I was seven. I hope Max wins something for Bee that she can treasure for years.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is your top half centered over your son's legs- reminds me of those flip books where you can make funny combinations of animals :) Love all the color too!

ReplyDeleteAh your photos are just something else! It's like candy for the eyes. I love that you guys seem to have carnivals all the time. We don't have much of that here in New Zealand.
ReplyDeleteThis is so vibrant! Completely agree with 'Dashfield Vintage' - candy for the eyes is a perfect description.
ReplyDeletei love how all of your photos right now just scream SUMMER!
