holy crap....I was innocently sitting at my desk reading your post at work...then BURST INTO LOUD LAUGHTER with this line "and then she pooed up her back and it was time to go home..."
Lovely photos. I love the simple days out and about with a wee one. I had to laugh at the poo. Yes, I nearly abandoned a cart of groceries to tend to a diaper yesterday.
i think this might be the first time i commented on your blog! and about time to say how much i thoroughly enjoy it, your pictures are beautiful and always so inspiring.
Gorgeous images, how do you 'get' the ones of yourself? Do you use a tripod? Or have a helping hand? Got to have a love hate relationship with poo. Love that they are doing it and all is good and healthy. Hate that poo can change your day.
haha! i laughed out loud at that last sentence. it's so true, i have a 5-month old and it's pretty much a given that she'll have a blowout if i'm out for more than an hour. i've learned to always bring extra clothes wherever i go. lovely pics!
That first picture is just wonderful... and babies are funny, magical and perfect and then a always good dose of reality :)

the tree shadows are such a lovely (and fresh!) backdrop, Katie. And the little dose of "reality" in the text made me smile.
