gloomy brooding type mondays are for hunkering down with extra thick socks.
they are for singing christmas songs to a lull sad-sack baby...long windy car rides across state lines...paint-stained fingers. belly laughs with my boy.
sending all our love eastward...
I love that painting. Such a sweet post!

I've caught myself singing Christmas songs too~ I believe your holiday spirit is rubbing off on me ; )
ReplyDeletelove that painting! i wish i had something like that in my home! it's never too early for christmas songs. :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, first, that painting--wonderful! Second, I live in the Portland area of Oregon and I'm realizing how strange it is when something scary is about to happen on the other side of the United States and all you can do is watch from afar. I've also been feeling a bit sad about how much I think just about my own town, my own family, and fail to think and pray for those far away!
ReplyDeleteOn a different note, do you sell your paintings?
a perfect broody monday.
ReplyDeleteand i will take your love and put it in my pocket. :) it's waaaay broody here.
have to ask, is the post title a spinal tap reference?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could paint like that!
