this week has been for living in matt's woolens and warm sweaters...our tiny house smelling of evergreen and hot chocolate...dreaming of cranberry sauce and a new baby nephew (coming oh so soon!)...checking for faulty christmas bulbs and woefully embracing my new balding head (i'm losing hair left and right over here...ack.)
we've been record spinning, chapter book reading, floor sweeping, grilled cheese making, basketballing, open window cleaning, baby cheering, thankful thinking.
happy tuesday!
Beautiful photos and it looks so warm and Christmasy at your house! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been living in my hubby's thermals all week - I love the cold weather! It'll be Christmas before you know it! Enjoy your first holidays with your little one :)

Your Tuesday sounds just about perfect. I am losing my hair in giant clumps as well, I think it's a shift in hormones from when I stopped nursing (but that was almost 6 months ago... when is it going to stop!?). Let me know if you discover a good natural remedy, and enjoy a toasty afternoon of cocoa and evergreens.

Your photos have such a calming effect. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteyou have the most beautiful way of putting things...
ReplyDeleteMine fell out around 2.5 months after the delivery. Totally normal! (During the pregnancy you don't loose the hair that would fall out normally, so it is just all of that falling out now at once)
ReplyDeletedo you know the name of the plant (next to the thermoses?) mine succumbed to a horde of wee white bugs and i want to replace it, but i don't know what it is!! thanks so much.
ReplyDeletebeautiful post as always. my hair fell out like crazy after i had finn. i hate to say, i still haven't really recovered. have a wonderful thanksgiving.... you and your growing family. (i'm so excited for nate and amy... and to find out the name of that precious boy!)
ReplyDeletesounds like such a lovely Tuesday! I love your photos and how you've compiled them. Always an inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteoh Katie, your writing and photos just fill me with happiness. beautiful as ever. hope your lovely family has a wonderful thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteYour hair will come back. It thickens while pregnant and then you have a massive loss of hair in the first six months. But then it starts to 'normalise'. We had huge red hairballs every where in our house for months from my hair loss.

ReplyDeleteI feel your pain mama about the hair loss! It seems like it never ends but, don't worry it's only temporary. And besides, a grilled cheese fixes all problems right ; )
ReplyDeleteLove that sweater! Seems like such a cozy time over at your place :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos!

ReplyDeleteVery cozy and I love those thermoses!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh the post-partum hair loss... don't worry, it grows back. Although it did drive me just crazy enough to chop off all my hair into a super short pixie cut! =)
