the most beautiful late season snow swept in last night and covered my ache for spring (at least just for today). we've been settled in, me and matt and the babies...watching branches drip drip and dogearing the new spring volume of KINFOLK...looking forward to good things to come.
song for today: burl ives- my good old man

ReplyDeleteso well put! I'm dying for spring, but somehow a new coat of snow relieves the ache. Strange how that works. Once it starts melting and turning to muddy slush and gunk, that will be another story...
